Bob Pearson, Utility Industry Consultant
In addition to his role as an electric utility industry consultant to Novinda, Bob is a Vice President of Environmental Services for CH2M HILL. He has held this dual role since 2003 when CH2M HILL formed the joint venture then known as Amended Silicates, Inc.Bob has been in the electric utility industry for 38 years, first as an environmental affairs employee of Public Service Company of Colorado (now Xcel Energy) for 19 years and later as an electric utility environmental consultant with the last ten years at CH2M HILL.
Bob holds a Geophysical Engineering degree and a MS and PhD in natural resources engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado. He is currently appointed by Secretary of Energy Steven Chu to the National Coal Council, an advisory committee to the Secretary of Energy on the use of coal as a clean energy resource in the United States.
