Fly ash samples containing Amended Silicates are tested during field trials of Amended Silicates sorbent. Novinda supplies independent labs and fly ash brokers with these samples to evaluate various parameters related to concrete compatibility and the mobility of mercury captured by Amended Silicates (leachability). Novinda also examines balance of plant impacts and other aspects of power plant operations that might be affected by the adoption of Amended Silicates.Data consistently indicates that Amended Silicates meets stringent EPA leachability standards and is completely compatible with fly ash use in concrete. Field trial experience has shown that Amended Silicates has no discernible balance of plant impact.
